I'm Back...

It's been a long time. Sorry.

Not knowing exactly where to start I will try to use pictures to provide an update of the last couple of months...

Starting with the best news we have to share, Baby Andrew Peter was born on September 16th weighing 7lbs 13ozs! He is an absolutely wonderful baby and starting sleeping through the night at around 6 weeks! He smiles lots and cries rarely. He's the perfect addition to our family and we are so fortunate to have him.

Another fun and worthwhile event occuring this fall was the Third Annual Two Little Monkeys Fundraiser benefitting the Philadelphia Shriners Hospital for Children. This is the hospital where Ally had her surgery and subsequent follow-ups. We were honored to have her surgeon, Dr. Scott Kozin, and his wife Louise fly in for the event. It was magical to have them there and the event was a huge success.

Little Ally Metzler was allowed to attend this year for ONE HOUR. As you can tell from the above photo, she thought she was the cat's meow (she even put on her best jewelry). She had a blast and everyone loved seeing her there...as she slid across the dance floor on her knees playing a mean air guitar. Seriously.

The fundraiser was actually in November - these photos are all out of order - but I am just too darn tired to rearrange them. Anyways, another highlight of the fall was Halloween. We spent the weekend in Indy once again and a great time was had by all. One of my favorite memories was going to the Delware Street parade for the little ones. It was such a well-run, well-attended, good natured event. Everyone loved little J.J. in his Wonder Pets costume (Ally's old one!). Ally had so much fun, I finally gave up trying to keep up with her and when I finally caught up at the end of the parade the first thing she said was, "Can we do that again?!?!"

Ally as Minnie Mouse and Matt as Benny the Bull - I had to cut up three Elmo costumes to make the arms and legs!

Here are some random photos from the fall...

Ally at her 4th Birthday Party - We celebrated at Adams Park with food, drink, cake and face painting!

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to be a better blogger!
Hope your 2011s are off to a great start!
